Come and support the Pacifica Treatment Centre in their first annual Fun Run. Encouraging healthy connections and physical activity as a part of a wholesome recovery, the 5 km and 1 km runs will take place at Trout Lake August 12, 2018, from 8:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. The Fun Run will mark the centre’s 41st anniversary as a BC treatment centre, and will be followed by live music and a BBQ picnic in the park.
A part of the annual Race for Recovery fundraiser, the Fun Run will draw attention to Pacifica Treatment Centre’s work in incorporating exercise as a part of addiction treatment and recovery. The event will help to raise funds for the centre’s exercise program and support individuals, families and communities in BC in becoming free from substance misuse.
There will also be an early bird draw featuring a pair of running shoes from Kintec, valued at $160.00 August 6, 2018.
