Turning Point held its 12th Annual Making Recovery a Reality Gala with Chris Gailus of Global BC as emcee, and Howard Blank as auctioneer. Rob Lowe, actor, author and producer, was the guest speaker of the night, captivating the crowd with his honesty, wit and entertaining stories of addiction, recovery, friendship and the entertainment industry.

Turning Point provides residential and outpatient counselling programs for individuals with addiction and mental health issues. The annual gala is a celebration of the lives saved and the selfless contribution of those who give hope to the individuals Turning Point serves every day. The gala helps generate greater community support and removes stigma by reaching out to the community; breaking down barriers and helping people better understand addiction and recovery. Money raised from the event helps fund critically needed residential addiction recovery beds and outreach counselling programs.
