Bosman Hotel Community Opening

Streetohome Foundation was proud to participate in a community open house of the At Home/Chez Soi project, in partnership with the Mental Health Commission of Canada and Portland Hotel Society. Neighbours, project stakeholders and guests had an opportunity to visit the property and say ‘welcome’ to the new tenants.

Stantec's Annual Fundraiser

Stantec chose Streetohome Foundation to be the recipient of their annual employee fundraiser on June 3, 2010. It was a fun-filled event which included a popcorn maker, ice cream floats, "The Beatles" Rockband, karaoke and an art show.

Aboriginal Mother Centre

In partnership with others, Streetohome has committed $500,000 to the reconstruction of the Aboriginal Mother Centre on Dundas St.

London Hotel Project

Streetohome has committed $250,000 to fund the renovation costs of the London Hotel. These renovations will make available low-barrier housing for 25 people who are homeless as soon as this month. The building will be managed by Atira, and support services funding will be provided by BC Housing.

The following non profits welcomed us into their community: Potluck Cafe, Raincity, Covenant House and Coast Mental Health.
